As Phyllis was mentioning a moment ago, we around here in marriage meeting, we have a reading assignment.

Anybody remember what the reading assignment is?

It hasn't changed in years.

We read Song of Solomon, two chapters per day for the rest of the week.

So that'd be Tuesday through Friday, next four days.

And that covers it.

It's eight chapters in Song of Solomon, plus 1 Corinthians 13.

So if you're here and you're serious, let me encourage you to take some time at some point and read that with your spouse.

Read it out loud together.

And the reason why I mentioned doing this is because these words, how many believe the song of Solomon is the word of God?

Then it is inspired by the Holy Spirit, and there is so much more in there than lovely poetry.

They are living words that minister beyond your head and what you understand.

Just so many things.

If it's the word, it always does that.

If you'll read it, listen to it in faith.

You know, some of the different translations will show what's the husband's part and what's the wife's part.

So you can just work it out among yourselves.
