It is such a joy to be with you for marriage meeting.

I know that many have gone to effort and expense to be here, took time off, spent money,

travel, et cetera, packed and unpacked.

I've done it many times.

But those that hunger and thirst will be filled.

Amen.

And you're a wise person.

You know, sometimes people hear about marriage meetings and they don't get excited.

And they think maybe, you know, well, our marriage is doing fine.

I don't need that.

You've already missed the point.

Nobody has arrived at the fullness of what is possible.

And it's not that if you're a wise person, you'll make investments into things so that they stay good, improve, get better.

Everything down here must be fed and nourished for it to be sustained and especially for it to improve. So I commend you for your

wisdom in being here, and I know we have a lot of people joining us also online. So I'm going to give you

a little reading assignment. Is that okay? For marriage. And it is Song of Solomon. And we read two chapters each day. And for the next

four days, that'll be eight, and that's the entire book. And also read First Corinthians

13, the Great Love chapter. and read it in the Amplified and other

translations if you want to, but the Amplified is especially good on that.
