Turn with me, please, in the scriptures, to Ephesians the fifth chapter.

Ephesians 531 says, for this cause shall a man leave his father and mother and shall be joined unto his wife and they too shall be one flesh.

This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

Nevertheless, let every one of you in particular so love his wife, even as himself,

and the wife see that she reverence her husband here he describes the marriage between a husband and wife as being a living picture of the mystery of Christ and the church.

And it's no wonder then that marriage and the family unit itself has been so under attack because there's nothing.

The devil hates more than the Lord in the church.

It's something he lost, something he'll never have, and we are the apple of his eye.

We are the bride of Christ.

Hallelujah.

And he is our perfect head, our perfect husband, our perfect Lord.

Is it true, says.

And so there's been so much watering down of what a marriage and a family ought to be.

There's been so much convulsion, so much of the world has gotten in that in many cases it's not portraying Christ

and the church it's not even people don't enter into marriage seriously we have more and more

people that just don't see the point at all.

And it's because of not understanding, not knowing God, not understanding that he's a covenant God.

And that marriage is a covenant.

And understanding what love is.

Many people think love is a feeling.

And so if the feeling changes, the love changed.

And so they fall in love and they fall out of love.
