Hey Jamie, I've heard my sisters and married friends talk a lot about how marriage isn't

an end goal.

I've heard you mentioned this too before where marriage isn't like a reward.

I was wondering what that means and speaking from a single woman's perspective and looking at

marriage as something that is so desired and valued, how are we supposed to look at marriage as not being a reward, so to speak?

How that are we supposed to even look at it? What's the right perspective?

If marriage isn't a reward, then what is it?

I think that's an incredible question and just to give you a very short answer even though this might sound a little

contradictory but this is just my personal opinion based on my own convictions based on

they could have read the Bible just like a bunch of stuff it's in my brain

Marriage is not a reward, but I would say that it's a gift now I'm going that's the short answer and we're going to jump into this. I'm going to pull up, well I have pulled up the definition of the word reward, right? And so it says it's a thing given in recognition of one's service, effort, or achievement.

And that is why I do not consider marriage a reward,

because marriage is not the thing that you receive

after you have, like, to say marriage is a reward means that the life that you lived before

is to say that the, almost is to say that the life that you lived before marriage was not also a

blessing was not also a reward does that make sense marriage is not something

that happens after you've worked really really really hard and now here is

the well okay let's let's use it in the context of

sports right so for the the Super Bowl like in order to win the Super Bowl trophy
