So, the reason I have you out here is that I heard when starting a new podcast like we are,

it's a good idea to have a weird, maybe awkward conversation about it, so I'm going to spring it on you now.

And then we'll play a teaser to the first episode of Marooned. That's what we're doing here.

Absolutely. Sounds good.

Perfect. So, that's quickly talked about Marooned.

That's the name of the new podcast, Marooned. And its stories of the catastrophically lost.

We're covering just about everything under that umbrella, which we've come to realize includes much more than just the idea of a cast away.

On a deserted island, say, right, Aaron?

If we only recorded stories of people who were marooned on islands, this show would get old really quick.

But see, being marooned isn't just a physical situation, it could be a mental one as well.

That's just two of the angles that we have going.

I mean, we have stuff that we're working on where we, this thing is taking on kind of a spirit of its own.

Initially, I was like, do we have enough out there that we could draw from?

Are there enough people who got lost at sea? Are there enough people who got lost in the desert or say in the Antarctic?

But we started to come up with things that are a little off the board that we would never expected.

Maybe you want to share a couple of those, just the premise.

Right, episode one is the story of a woman who went for a hike and got lost in the woods.

We have another episode coming out, which is about a man who decided to do some scientific expeditions out in the Antarctic.

And you won't believe what happens to him there.

But in all of our stories, it's about people, like you said, who get catastrophically lost.
