funny. We have Mark Wayne Mullen up at the Senate today doing his

hearing to be the new secretary of the Department of Homeland Security. It was one of these things

when Trump first did one of those very Trumpian firings where he just sort of like, he posts on

truth social that the new person, here's the new person for the Department

of Homeland Security when for Christine Nome, you don't even know the old person is done.

And I'm not sure we knew she knew she was done when that thing posted because what is it?

She was in the middle of a press conference talking with, I think it was like, you know, some, you know, National Association of

Sheriffs or something like that. One thing I remember about that, and it's, again, very par for the

Trumpian moment, is that one of the first headlines I saw about Mullen being nominated, although sort of scare
