Oklahoma Senator and never the smartest person in the room, Mark Wayne Mullen, has cleared committee and is now headed for a full Senate vote to lead the Department of Homeland Security,

a position for which he is completely unqualified.

The full Senate is expected to vote on Mullen's nomination as early as next week.

It was only yesterday during a multi-hour hearing before the Senate that things turned contentious,

as Mullen was questioned on everything

from his temperament to his stance on election interference and even if so-called sensitive overseas

foreign assignments about which he would tell us nothing. I want to take a look at some of the

key moments from that hearing that led up to this confirmation, because I think it's

important to know just who it is that the Republicans and traitor to the Democratic Party,

John Federman, think is qualified for this very important position. The hearing was tense

from the very beginning, including notable exchanges with committee chair Republican

Rand Paul from Kentucky, which highlighted existing and longstanding friction between the two.

And remember, Mullen is one of their colleagues.

He is a senator.

Some of you may remember that Rampole was assaulted by a neighbor

back in 2017, seriously assaulted from behind, and he was hospitalized for several weeks.

Mullen has made numerous comments about this attack, and that's where we pick up the hearing.
