the kind of emo of this podcast to talk about transfers all the time but there hasn't

really been a week quite like it at Manchester United. We haven't actually signed anyone, but it's the

who we could have signed. That is absolutely stunning.

Yeah, I'm not one for transfers really. I don't get that excited by them. I don't speak about them that often on Twitter or or even to people. I kind of wait for something to just be announced, but this week it's just impossible to do that because it's just

been as mad a week as I've ever known at United it's just every day is just throwing up new craziness. Like as soon as that

Brighton game happened like what even before that to be fair I think they are

now to bit rumors were actually before the Brighton game.

Like it's just been mad.

Like panic, like you think of panic buying as like a term,

but like in this term it's like when you think of panic everyone at United or you can imagine in the transfer committee is just people like screaming and like in that like an airplane where like every they're told like oh this is there a pilot on board and

then they're all just going absolutely manic like running out the windows and

stuff that's how I imagine the the transfer committee looks at United people are

just jumping out of the window like

getting mad. Just waiting for 10-Hug to set himself on fire, right? Or is

10-Hug the blow-up dummy in the pilot's seat?

Honestly, it's just bonkers.

Like, I guess we were led to believe or we wanted to believe,

and it might be the latter, that the new structure of Richard Arnold delegating power

to the football part of the business, led by John Murder, with Andy O'Brien is his deputy. A new scouting or recruitment and

analytics department and a new manager would lead to some kind of

professional process in acquisitions, sales and squad management.
