Oh, let's jump right into things, kick things off with lows, which reported that net earnings

were up 26% year over year.

That seems pretty good to me, but it was still below analyst

expectations and shares are down today. Brian, were expectations too high?

I don't know if it was the expectations that were too high I think it's I think it's primarily

the results the stocks down I mean it lows beat on revenue but missed on earnings so I think the

market expected that if you're gonna beat on revenue we expected more to flow through down to the net income.

So margins weren't as good as folks had hoped.

And then also, there's some chatter around the guidance. They raise guidance slightly.

The market probably had expected them to raise guidance a little bit more.

Home Depot came in before lows, which raises the expectations for lows.

Now speaking of Home Depot, like you said, they reported yesterday.

Just one of the stats I have.

Home Depot had 7.4% same store sales growth.

Lowe's had 6.2% same store sales growth.

Clearly, Lowe's is coming up a little short here.
