Happy Thursday. It is kind of a happy Thursday, atents. Same to you. Happy Thursday.

It is kind of a happy Thursday, at least in the market.

We're going to talk restaurants, we're going to talk hotels, but let's start with the market

because all the major indices up more than 1% this morning on the news that there is some sign of progress

across the river in Washington, D.C.

At least a heartbeat.

Hard feat of progress in the story Taylor is that the Republicans in the House are

going to put forth a short-term increase to the government's borrowing

authority so we'll push that October 17th deadline

back another four weeks or six weeks that sort of thing that's nice certainly a

nice morning in the market but I have to ask doesn't that just delay the

inevitable doesn't that just mean a month from now we're going to be back to well

we have the deadline coming up yeah I think that's their point I mean it kind of

allows them to buy a little more time

to debate the Affordable Health Care Act

and try and get the spending limits cut there.
