I appreciate you being here because I know you were up really, really early this morning and

we'll get to why in a moment the Apple event is

happening later today you don't say yeah you may have seen a little coverage

of that if you've seen

CNBC or Bloomberg or anything online.

So we will talk a little bit about that, but we'll go further in depth on tomorrow's market

foolery once the event has actually happened.

But let's start with Barnes and Noble and file this under things I never thought I would say

shares in Barnes and Noble hitting a new 52 week high this morning.

Woo! We win!

After first quarter results...

There's no other way to put it. The first quarter

results weren't good but they weren't as bad as people were expecting. Same

store sales being one metric where analysts were

expecting them to drop 2% they only dropped 0.4% yes so hey you know what if if
