Yeah, I got to celebrate two Independence days last week.

Canada day on July 1st.

And as my first one, so as you know, I'm feeling very free right now.

I'm gonna, I might to depending on when he is an

next in studio I might take our Canadian colleague Jim Gillies to task because he

sent an email on Canada day with a link and it was something like 50 insane facts about Canada and it was sort of this

infographic and I just scanned it very quickly and the one that caught my eye there was a

little cartoon drawing of a basketball hoop and and it said, the sport of basketball

was invented in Canada.

And I just wrote back to him, that's not true.

Not only is that an insane fact, that's an incorrect fact.

And then he pointed out that there was one about the movie industry Canada that was incorrect.

And I said, okay, so we've established that at least two of, are the other 48 correct?

Or are they made up facts too?

Kenny Maine did a special on the USPN the other day about Dr James Aceh is a Canadian.

So. He is a Canadian, but it was not invented in Canada fair enough that's fair enough anyway I like it when people say true fact true fact

that's when you immediately question like isn't it true by nature so you're kind of like double counting there right I think you are
