We got a packed house today.

Where are you going to talk natural gas, pharmaceuticals,

and online travel, but we're going to start with Big Red.

Coca-Cola is planning to invest a total of $5 billion in India over the next eight years.

The company had previously said it was going to invest 2 billion between 2010 and

2020.

Why, why, why the huge bed? Why the doubling down? Well this is another great example and a long string of them where coke gets into emerging markets early,

invest heavily in building out distribution, establishing brands, and setting

itself up to be the leader in that market going forward.

And right now, the Indian market's very wide open, relatively speaking, Koch has about 25% share or pepsico as 20

that's relatively hotly contested compared to the dominance coke has in other markets

I think it's good timing when you look at how the Indian economy is really

struggling. In that sense, it's a good time for them to get in there and start building those
