Wendy's is selling Arby's and a Macy's ad in the Miami Herald is making headlines.

We will get to those stories in a moment, but first, VF Corporation,

whose apparel brands include North Face, Wrangler, and Nautica has agreed to buy Footwear

company Timberland for about $2 billion.

Jason, this is a stock advisor recommendation, Timberland is.

From last fall at about $18 a share, shares are up about 40% today.

It's now trading somewhere north of 42 so suffice to say a good day for

Timberland shareholders a very good day. Yeah, it'll take away any Monday

morning blues that any of those Timberland holders might have been having.

But I mean I think overall I mean I think it's actually a really good deal for VF and for

Timberland. I mean if you look at the VF corporation they actually have the catalog of brands that include things like

Nautica and the North Face and even Wrangler and Lee Jeans, Chris.

But I mean if you look at it, it's uh, uh, timberland it actually has a pretty big
