but we'll try.

We'll try to live up to that.

I think long-time listeners know just I was just being polite. I feel like

this is our acquisition special because we've got Starbucks Google and Amazon

all making acquisitions we'll get into each of them, but let's start with Starbucks.

Starbucks is buying La Bolange for $100 million.

Not bad for a guy who never took French. He ate croissants all morning. Just to prep. La Valanche has 19 retail locations in the San Francisco area and guys the plan appears to be not only to expand the retailer to other

locations but to take their their pastries and their sandwiches and get them

into Starbucks locations across America. Jeff I'll start with you.

I'm a long time Starbucks shareholder and I'm the first to say the baked goods at Starbucks just

aren't cutting it.

So on the one hand, I'm very pleased about this and yet shares were

down this morning why is that this seems like a natural fit they were they were down

and I think that's mainly because Starbucks said this will cut about two cents per share from earnings in the second
