Back from a long week of Fool of Palooza.

Yes, we all survived the Motley Fool's annual meeting.

We'll get to that.

Yeah.

We'll talk a little bit about Foolooza.

We've also got General Motors in the news but let's start with the the big

deal of the week or potentially the big deal of the week because this is not

finalized but Apple is in talks to buy Beats for 3.2 billion.

On the surface, David, I think there are people who look at this and say,

wait a minute, wait a minute, you've got this massive company in a minute you've got this massive company in Apple you've got this

someone argue an upstart company in Beets co-founded by Andre Young aka Dr, from the rap group in W.A.

And it doesn't necessarily seem, it seems a little bit like this could be a strange bedfellow

situation.

But the more you dig into this, the more it seems like this could be a good deal for all involved and a particularly smart move for Apple.

I wonder how many like 75 year old investors were like who's this Dr. Dre is he like Dr. Ost is

yeah and then then do a Google search maybe find some of this or not getting medical

advice from that guy well Well, you know, medical marijuana industries booming, so maybe you could.

Maybe he could.

It seems like an okay deal.

It seems a little pricey from Apple's perspective, but I mean when you look at Apple's cash, I guess they can afford to throw a couple billion around.
