Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, back in the news.

We've got a couple of emails from our discussion about Activision Blizzard and the video game industry.

We'll get to those shortly but first we will

start with Disney. Walt Disney Company's second quarter profits up 21%

thanks to strong numbers from its theme parks and cable TV channels.

Jason Muzer, it was a stock you follow closely.

What would you make of the quarter?

The mouse is in the house, yeah.

It was a solid quarter and I think that when you have a company that can put out a real piece like John Carter.

It forces their segment to take an operating loss, yet they can still report a solid quarter.

You know that you have a really strong company.

That's really what I like about Disney is their diverse revenue streams.

So they can really kind of tank it in maybe one segment, but the other four can really make up for it and

that's what happened here I mean it was a strong network performance and

theme parks performance offset some of the losses in the movie studio the

SPN is commanding higher affiliate revenues just based on the

demand and the Disney Channel now you look it's in a hundred and sixty seven countries
