We will soldier on though. We've got some earnings to talk about. We've got an interesting report in the retail industry and we will dip

into the full mailbag let's start with a couple of restaurant change reporting

earnings Panera and Popbellyera, fourth quarter profits higher than expected,

but they already lowered guidance on the first quarter.

And we'll get into why in just a second,

Potbelly shares down about 10% this morning after reporting a fourth quarter loss that is compared to a profit a year prior. But let's start with Panera Bill. This is pretty interesting I think because they are coming out and

blaming the weather for Q1. This is why we're lowering guidance. We're blaming the

weather and frequently when a company blames the weather the stock gets

punished but shares of Panera are up about 3% this morning which tells me that people are
