I know we're kind of deep into our summer season now, and so I'm grateful to all of you who are on the call. I know we're kind of deep into our

summer season now. And so I'm sure these things become a little less interesting as you get into the

warm and enjoyable summer months. But the markets don't seem to slow down for the summer. And so

there's plenty going on in the world, in Washington, D.C., in the markets.

And Scott and I are going to unpack those things here for the next 30, 40 minutes.

And so I'll turn it over to Scott.

And it's an interesting week to have our conversation as we wrap up the first half of 2021.

It's always interesting to see how the market does during this time span.

And we can see at least so far, we'll see how the numbers shake out over the next couple days.

But tech underbook performing the broader market a little bit so far this year.

I'm just curious where you think we stand right now and your reaction to the double-digit

gains we've seen across the board in the three major indices so far in 2021.

I think in a lot of ways, it's not so much a six-month story.
