Summary

How long can we expect a market cycle to last? It always seems when we are hitting new all-time highs, or when times couldn't get any better, is when the bottom falls out of the market. Take the 2000 Dot-Com bubble or the 2008 Great Recession or even the Great Depression and Wall Street's crash back in 1929 at the end of the Golden Age, they always come when times seem best. But there are clues to when the market is ready to give up and throw the towel in, the key is for you to see those clues and know that when the time does come where the market falls apart, that you'll be prepared and ready to act accordingly.

0:33.5	I'm talking about market cycles within a bull rally.
0:36.9	Now, when we talk about market cycles typically,
0:40.0	we're talking about the advancement, the euphoria, the downtrend, the sell-off, and all that
0:44.9	stuff, but we're talking about it more from like a multi-year perspective where we're talking about
0:48.7	bull markets versus bear markets. What I'm actually wanting to do today is just talk about
0:53.9	the bull market market cycle.
0:57.0	And so I don't think this is something that people give a lot of contemplation towards.
1:01.6	I think a lot of times what we're looking at when we're in a bull market is how high will it go?
1:05.8	And we're not really looking at the behaviors that it is exhibiting while it's in that bull market rally.
1:12.2	And so we're coming off of a pretty heavy sell-off back in quarter four of 2018.
1:18.7	We saw the market decline over 20%.
1:20.8	Really shook a lot of people up quite a bit.
1:24.2	I actually made a profit in the swing trading splash zone during quarter four.
1:27.4	It was amazing. Each month I was profitable. But a lot of people can't say that. A lot of
1:32.7	people are still trying to recover from that, even though the market's still at all-time highs.
