Bill O'Reilly, how you doing? I'm still standing, Simone. I'm actually sitting talking to you, but it was quite the wild weekend in Florida, and we're looking forward to hitting Texas in Houston on Saturday and Dallas on Sunday.

So you make big news. Well, I should say it should have been the biggest news story,

but a lot of the media will not pick up on this. Donald Trump wanted 10,000 troops to guard the

Capitol on January 6. Yeah, so weren't you surprised when that came out?

Yes. I learned a number of things, and I told everybody that this tour, the Trump-O-Reilly

history tour, was going to be just that.

And I actually had to scold some people in the audience in Fort Lauderdale because they thought it was a rally.

And I said, hey, this is important stuff.

So the president said, hey, I asked a day before the attack on the Capitol on January 5th of this year for 10,000 National Guard to be deployed around the Capitol and other public buildings.

And that turns out to be absolutely true.

So now we have a House committee investigating Donald Trump because they want to take them out of the sweepstakes

for next presidential election. That's what this is all about. And the original charge was he

instigated the capital riot. Well, now that we know that's that's false so it's

pivoted to well he didn't act fast enough after the riot began

to quell it

that's when that so they dumped the instigated thing

uh... because of the president uh... you know told me i did this and we checked it out and it was absolutely true.

And now they're into, well, he didn't act fast enough.

Okay, I'm going to address that on Saturday and Sunday with the president in Houston and Dallas.

And we'll see what he has to say.
