Hey, I love your new column. Fake news, fake experts. What is wrong with anybody who would watch all these fake networks?

No, I know. And particularly, I mean, it's true in almost any area. Would the New York Times ever cite John Lott as an expert on anything?

What they mean as experts is an odd thing the media does is anyone who agrees with them.

It's like the easiest way to write an article.

You wake up, think what you believe, and then just randomly

call some professor, many of whom this Stephen Vlatic law professor, he can be counted on

to tell the New York Times whatever it wants about the law. This alleged expert repeatedly

wrong, wrong, wrong. But of of course he says the district court

judges are always right

it's it's sort of comedic to see him cited as an expert

but i particularly focused on the foreign policy experts in this column

since they've done such a bang-up job across the world uh in Afghanistan and Iraq, and, I mean, going back to the Shah in Iran.

The experts have almost universally been wrong, but that is the hysteria being directed at Trump.

And there was a particular article in the New York Times about this, that, oh, my gosh, we're going to be flying blind. He's getting rid of all the experts. You know, when Trump was, before he was president, he met with Henry Kissinger. You know what Kissinger told him the biggest piece of advice? He said, don't. Fire the entire State Department. Well, close. He said, don't let the state department run foreign policy. And he said,

don't ever listen to those idiots with their briefing books. Yes, well, it's gotten out of control.

We have an overproduction of elites problem in the country. Way too many people going to college and graduate school to become alleged experts
