Hey, I have a question, and I'm a curious guy.

What is in all those boxes that the presidents always take with them

when they leave the white house what the heck is in those boxes and why is it so important to

them to take that crap with them yeah that's a good question uh thanks for calling that's an excellent

question when you're done in the White House,

you pack up everything and you leave. There's two kinds of packing up. There's upstairs,

the residence, that's normal moving, you know, your clothes, your personal things. And then there's

downstairs in the offices. Presidents have lots and lots and lots and lots of documents,

all sorts of documents. are classified some aren't

and they want to take them so obviously the president doesn't run around packing these boxes you send the staff in

and they don't know what you want don't want so they basically pack everything and what happens is you get

back to wherever you're going is the ex-president

and you've got 7,000 boxes of documents the idea is that at some point you'll go through them

and decide what to throw out and what to keep well uh once you get out of office who the hell's
