On 710 W.O.R. Hey. Forgot to mention the Oscars. Ratings are out. 19.5 million people. That's up a little from last year where it was 18 million. So it's up 4%. This is not good, though. This is really bad. This is way down from what it normally is. Normally, if you just go back 10 years ago, the Oscars were 43 million.

Go back another 10 years, it was 60 million.

So this is way down.

Not only is it remain very, very low compared to what it used to be.

The big problem is, if you look at the demos, younger viewers are not interested in the Oscars.

Plunging in 18 to 49. People under 40, not much interest. People under 30 actually don't know what the Oscars are for.

They know it's some award show. They don't know. It's movies, TV. So the Oscars dying out as we speak.

A lot of people think they ought to cut it to two hours. You know, think about it. It's a show that goes like four and a half hours. And they give an award for best editing? I mean, edit the showdown an hour. It would be a great one hour. Then you could put it up on social media. People would watch it. Anyway, let's take some calls. Let's go to Michael in Manhattan.

The Oscars and the State of the Union were delayed because of Hamas protesters tying up traffic, and that's been certified.

Well, we know that. Nobody questions that.

In Biden's defense, a lot of people find him dependable.

That's supposed to be some sort of joke like Depends.

Don't make fun of the poor guy worked on that joke for a week.
