I'm sure many of you have not heard of a former running back for the Pittsburgh Steelers named Richard Mendenhall.

The reason why I bring him up is because this guy goes on to Twitter and says, quote,

I'm sick of average white guys commenting on football. You all not even good at football. Can we please

replace the Pro Bowl with an all black versus all white bowl? Which doesn't set us back. This is like

the mayor of Boston excluding whites from attending a holiday party. Segregated football. Boy, that's very interesting. And the fact is, you know, if I'm putting together like an all-white roster, I kind of like my chances, right? I'll put, let's see, Josh Allen, a quarterback, or Brock Purdy. Yeah, Brock Purdy, I'll put a quarterback. And then I'll put his running back in my backfield in Christian McCaffery. Then I'll put Travis, Kelsey, and George Kittle on as a dual-threat tight ends. I think I like Cooper Cup as one of my ride receivers and probably Adam Thielen on the other side. Then I could take the other Kelsey brother and I could put him at center. Yeah, you know, that's looking pretty good right now.

And then on defense, I could have the Bosa brothers, obviously being my sack guys.

I could go on here, actually, as far as how that would go.

Look, it's even silly to have this conversation.

There are great black players in the NFL.

There are great white players in the NFL.

And the fact that this guy is on here talking about how we should pit one race versus the other, just to prove that one is better than the other in a game like football where, you know, it's pretty equal on both sides, depending on position. I just can't believe that we're at this point. And you say, well, it's just one former running back, Joe, Richard Mendenhall. You may remember he fumbled away the Super Bowl when he was playing with

the Steelers against the Packers. Steelers were about to take the lead and the guy coughed it up and that was the end of it and that was Aaron Rogers. That was his only Super Bowl victory, only Super Bowl appearance now

they think about it.
