Stuart, how you doing?

0:12.0

Hey, Mark, how are you?

0:13.0

Good.

0:14.0

Yesterday, you said something that was spot on, which you normally do.

0:17.0

But, you know, you talked about when Trump was, no matter what media he was on, he was so

0:23.7

comfortable. When I first got into radio years ago, you were in radio? Oh, yeah. I was in

0:29.8

Augusta with my partner. I was in Greenville, 100,000-watt station up there. But one of the,

0:37.3

the greatest advice I had was when you talk to people

0:40.4

on the radio, talk to them like you're sitting in your living room. And that's exactly what I did.

0:45.3

And we were fairly successful. And that's exactly what Trump does.

0:49.6

Well, can I be honest?

0:50.7

In your living room and talking to you. And that's why you go to them. Let me be honest. When you start in radio, they got these consultants. They always tell you these cliche things. Talk to one person. And they used to have this slogan, talk to your audience. Don't talk at them. And then I realized, who care? I'm talking at them. I don't talk to them. I'm talking to a million people. I'm not talking to one. Do whatever the hell you want. If the consultant was so great, he would be on the radio. He wouldn't be a consultant. And that is true, but they said talk to you like you talking to friends. And that's exactly what I did. And it went very well. And unfortunately, they sold our station. And when I was the guest

toast, my producer told me, it said, you made one horrible mistake. I said, what is that? They said,

1:36.8

you know, you were much better than the person you were sitting in for, and that is a death sentence.

1:41.6

So that's when I was off the radio. Oh, well, you went on to law enforcement, right? Oh, yeah. Well, I had done that while I was a police officer. I retired and I'm still a state officer, but I had a lot of time to be on radio, but I absolutely loved it. And that's why I listen to your show every day, because you're really phenomenal at this job. Oh, well, thanks. Well, you've got a great career, great listener. Thanks for being with us. Take care.

1:45.0

Yeah, they, thanks. Well, you've got a great career, great listener. Thanks for being with us. Take care. Yeah, all these consultants, they don't have written you. You look up the consultant's background. He used to be on the radio. Didn't make it. He became a consultant. There's great consultants. There's Walter Sabo. There's Mike McVeigh, there's Greg Micheri, there's great consultants,

2:18.8

but there's a lot of bad ones too.

2:20.9

Let's go to Joel in Florida.

2:23.3

Joel, how you doing?

2:25.4

Good morning, Mark.
