Hello, Mark. Mark, a lot of people don't realize but today is the 80th

anniversary of the D-Day invasion yeah and whenever my brothers and I get together we

always say what was going through the old man's mind is he was in the landycraft

heading for the beach he had all his ribbons and at the end of one ribbon was a little bronze arrowhead.

He said the only people who got that was the people who were first on the beach. He said,

they can't BS me because I was there. But like most war veterans, he never really talked about

what he did. And, you know, and we never really asked him. I wish he was here now. I would

definitely ask

him like what happened but and we're not we don't have many of these guys left mark you know it's sad

yeah well we love them we love them they'd all be near a hundred uh you're right absolutely glad

you brought that up 80th anniversary of d day it was an incredible thing because when they hit the beach

they had to climb those cliffs.

And at the top of the cliffs were Germans with machine guns firing down at them. And they knew

that probably 65% of them wouldn't make it. But it was the only way to do it. It was the only way

to get to the top of the cliffs and take out all those German machine guns. Now, you'll never

see anything like that again, ever because we don't have people that brave anymore, but also,

nowadays we've got the technology. The drones could go to the top of the cliffs and get those guys.

We wouldn't have to climb up there and literally fight them hand to hand. The drones would wipe them out,
