Mark, this is an excellent example of why AM radio is so vital.

Now, we have the Los Angeles fires. There's no cell service in many areas, no electricity, no

internet. Vital life-saving information is being delivered through radio stations such as IHeartMedia's

KFI radio. and for the people that

say no i have a cell phone i have something else they're actually wrong those primitive am transistor

radios are literally life-saving tools yeah that's very important. And that's why the emergency broadcast system is on AM radio,

because in a crisis, that's about the only thing that works.

Your phone, your battery might, you know, it's another thing.

People, you know, flee with their phone, but how do you recharge it?

Electricity is cut in a lot of places in Los Angeles right now. The cell service goes

out. There are people with, using those Elon Musk Starlinks, which will get you a cell service

through a satellite. But, again, they need electricity. So it's an AM radio. But a lot of people

don't have, there are many people now that don't have an AM radio anymore, especially a portable AM radio with batteries and an extra supply of batteries.

You might want to get one of those. It's a good thing to have because, you know, one thing they always say about AM radio, it's the best delivery system in the world.
