Good morning, Mark.

I'm doing very well, thank you.

Mark, you announced that Luke Christie has passed away, and you played lightning strikes.

Now, if my memory serves, I think you mentioned this on the old oldies show.

Back in the 1960s, weren't records such as lightning strikes recorded with small speakers

because of transistor radios and AM radios and cars in mind?

Yeah, that's a good point.

You know, they take some of these oldies from the 50s and 60s, remastered in stereo.

Well, they were made to be played in mono.

As AM radios were all mono.

Back in 1960, whatever, it was an AM radio.

In fact, in the big recording studio with the big, massive studio speakers, they would have

a little car radio speaker.

And before they finished the final mix, they would play it through that to make sure

it sounded good on that little speaker.

Mono was, everything is mono again nobody

cares about stereo you know all the podcasts you listen to we could we could put them in stereo
