So my question is this. We do understand why Mamdani would want to go to a fallen police officer's funeral,

okay, to try to make up for his inappropriate comments.

Why would the family let him go?

If they would have said to him, no, don't come,

or even better, not say say anything let the guys show up

and then tell him to leave in front of all the cameras that would have been a big statement a big

statement you know what let me just jump in and say this and i let me just say i don't know roger i

don't know the answer to that.

My thought is, if you're a recent arrival to the United States and clearly the officer's family, I don't know how long they've been here.

Okay.

They're Muslim.

And clearly proud Americans and good Americans and did so legally because he was a police
