This week I'm going to be talking to a naturalist and a writer called Polly Pula.

Now Polly lives in Highland, Purshire, which is also extremely well known in the area as a wildlife rehabilitator.

She returns injured or abandoned animals or birds to the natural environment after she's got them back on their feet again.

When I visited the Croft, we went straight to meet a couple of our charges.

These two squirrels have been with me for quite a long time.

One of them has been with me for this winter,

and the other one has been with me for two winters, which is really odd.

But the reason for that is because she was just far, far too tame.

She was hand-reared by somebody else,

and the aim was to have her one winter and then

release her last spring but she was still climbing all over me and it would have been far too risky.
