Hey, it's Mark Simone. Welcome to the bonus segment for all of you podcast listeners. We love the fact that you listen to the podcast every weekend, a bonus segment. So Kathy Hokel, well, she was asked about Elise Stefonic, and she's got a pretty good lead over Stefanik in the polls, although Pistophonic keeps rising. But still, Hockel has like a 20-point lead.

But she was asked about Bruce Blakeman, who is definitely looking at running. He hasn't decided

yet. He's going to go tour upstate to get a feel for things, but asked about him. Now, he's

probably the bigger threat. You know, one thing about Stefanik, she's great and she's brilliant in Congress and, you know, number one in her class

at Harvard, smart, very articulate. But it's Blakeman that's the governor, a manager. You know,

he's the county executive of Nassau County. That's like being the governor of Nassau County. He's

the best county executive in

America. So that could be the real threat. Asked about him, she said, nah, I don't care how many

Trump cheerleaders run against me. Well, that's a pretty good sign for Blakeman. She can't

seem to come up with the argument against him. If she's got to resort to Trump derangement

syndrome to go after

him, not a good sign. Nassau County's done very well under him as far as taxes, crime,

economy, everything. So she's, you can tell she's a little worried about that Blakeman threat.

Now, here's the other thing about Hockel. You know, everybody hates these things she comes up with. One of them, she's going to ban natural gas. She's going to ban gas stoves. You won't be allowed to have a gas stove. Now, that's very important. It's okay if you've got an electric stove, but a gas stove, it's much better for cooking.

You get much better results.

You get much better texture, everything.

That's why in restaurants, they only use gas stoves.

And if she bans these gas stoves, you really can't have a restaurant.

I guess they'll have to grandfather the old ones.

You could keep those.

But nobody will be able to build a new restaurant if you can't use gas stoves.

So it's a nightmare.
