well we got lots to get to today lots to talk about we'll go over the convention last night we'll get

to our wacky crazy totally incompetent mayor and his war on restaurants we'll get to

the governor he may be on the verge of collapse he's got problems uh coming joelett, how much of the convention did you watch last night?

I took last night off. I mean, knowing that Mike Pence was going to be the main

speakers, nothing to see here.

Well, I've got to be honest. I actually, literally fell asleep during the speech.

Yes, of course.

But luckily, I woke up towards the end because it was quite a powerful ending with a dramatic, beautiful, majestic setting.

And then the president walked on stage.

And at the end, they had Trace Atkins sing the national anthem,

Acapella.

And there were these old World War II veterans

and couldn't stand. They were in wheelchairs and they actually got up out of their wheelchairs

for the national anthem. It was quite a powerful moment. And the president looked and saw these

old veterans there, walkers, wheelchairs. As soon as it was over, he went off the stage and went

down to say hello to them and wave to them

and interact with them.

And you could tell the convention was a huge, roaring success.

If you were watching MSNBC, which I always watch MSNBC for the coverage,

because every time they cut back to the anchors they were so enraged

so angry so traumatized by the whole thing you could tell it was a success they were doing great

and you know how they sometimes try to fact check they were furiously fact checking this they were
