the apprentice remember donald trump the apprentice it started off um early 2000s very early 2000s

and uh it became a big hit.

And next thing you know, it ran 14 seasons.

14 seasons.

It was for a long time, the number one highest rated show in television.

It was the great producer, Mark Burnett, that came up with it.

He's the guy that came up with Survivor and that kind of stuff.

And he came up with Shark Tank, which is done in Los Angeles.

And he was on this show, and we asked him about The Apprentice.

And he said, the way it came about was he had to travel,

you know, survivor. He had to leave his family, go travel over all these crazy places and then

Shark Tank had to travel out to L.A. He wanted a show that would take place in New York City.

So he didn't have to leave his family, so he could be with his family. So he came up with this

idea. What's New Yorkork city it's a lot of

big corporations business executives skyscrapers so he decided it'll be a business show he came up with

the whole concept a top top top top business CEO would be looking for an apprentice and they'd all

have to audition for a business thing.

And I asked him, I said, well, and how'd you come up with Donald Trump?

He said, well, we came up the whole concept and then we said, who's the most famous businessman in America?

And it was Donald Trump.

So he was the first choice, and we couldn't believe it.
