It starts basically in Wildwood, New Jersey, May of, it was May 11th, I want to say. May 11th of 2024. I flew on the Trump plane, which was very cool. They served Wendy's. Kind of saw that coming, but didn't see it coming. I guess there wasn't a McDonald's at LaGuardia Airport, but there was a Wendy's. And we had burgers, Tater Tots, obviously spoke with the president on his way up to the front.

I was back in the Secret Service along with an in-bed reporter from the New York Post.

Then we did a flyover of the site, landed in Atlantic City.

Then I was in the motorcade, which was very cool going into Cape, not Cape May, but Wildwood.

And then from there, you know, two hours, he spoke, just was going, just everything.

When it came to immigration or Hannibal Lecter, you heard it.

Lawrence Taylor and Otis Anderson, New York Giants also were there.

I was seated next to them.

Otis, I don't know how anybody tackled this individual.

I know, let's see, the Super Bowl where he was the MVP, was in 1991 when they beat the Bills 20 to 19. That was Scott Norwood when he missed that field goals, barely wide right down in Tampa. And he was the MVP, Otis Anderson was. And obviously, LTs, you know, arguably probably the greatest defensive player of all time. But, I mean, Otis just blew me away.

I mean, this guy, you want to talk about the tree trunks. I mean, and he had speed, and he was tough, and he never went out of bounds. So, I mean, it was cool seeing Trump, you know, at a rally for the first time. I hadn't been there before, and obviously I wanted to cover for the book. uh being somehow they must have known I was like a huge sports fan
