Well, so Guthrie kidnapping, Samantha Guthrie's mother, now they're getting, things are coming out slowly, being released very slowly.

Apparently neighbors did see a mysterious white van before the mother vanished.

There was a mysterious white van that was somewhere near the house that would, they believe it was multiple kidnappers because you'd need multiple kidnappers, especially

once you have her, somebody's got to watch her, somebody's got to go out and get food,

somebody's got to do this.

A van obviously makes it a lot easier for a kidnapping, so they did spot it.

They're not saying exactly why, but they believe it was targeted. They believe the kidnappers

knew who this woman was, knew that it was Savannah Guthrie's mother. Now, you've got to figure that

they thought that that meant to be more money to get out of Savannah Guthrie. It doesn't happen

as often as you would think where kidnappers look for the relative

of a very famous wealthy person, but it has happened before.

Frank Sinatra's son, the most famous case.

But remember Calvin Klein too, 1978.

Calvin Klein, who was as big as could be back then, they kidnapped his daughter Marcy. She was only 11 years old then. Kidnapped here in New York. But that was over pretty fast. I think about 12 hours later they found her. They did pay $100,000 ransom, which would be like a million dollars today. But it doesn't happen as often as you'd think so.
