And welcome back hour number two of Mark Simone show, Mr. York, getting a much-deserved

five-day weekend.

You've got to figure that the sitting president of the United States, like every weekend was a five-day weekend.

There's weekend at Bernie's and there's weekend at Biden's.

I mean, he spent, it's an incredible stat.

New York Post puts this together.

40% of his presidency on vacation.

That's insane.

I got, let's see, five days in Cape May where I worked almost the entire time because Biden dropped out.

I swear this happened.

I remember this like it was yesterday.

It's July 21st, hadn't taken a vacation all year, and we unpack in a hotel room.

I pack up everything, the boogie boards, the books, the water, got my nice little wagon. I'm walking out to the sprawling beach. It was Diamond Beach, was just north of Cape May. And the minute, I mean, even the second, I believe, my toes hit that wonderful warm sand, my wife, and I even left my phone back in the hotel room because I'm like, you know what, I'm not looking at anything. I'm not going to read X. I'm not going to like, you know, I'm getting away for a little bit. I'm going to read a book, like some sort of like mystery kind of novel type of thing. I'm just getting away. And the minute we get on that beach, my wife, who had her phone, just in case, says, oh look, Biden dropped out, like a friend of hers had written her. I'm like, you've got to be kidding me.

And then as I'm walking back to the room, because I'm sure they'll be hearing from my network, Fox News, that, hey, can you join? Because the secret on me, it's not a secret anymore, is that I have a home studio. So if something like this breaks out of nowhere, there are a lot

of people on a, this was on a Sunday afternoon where you're not going to be able to get Brett

Bear into an anchor chair right away or Martha McCown. They may be elsewhere, you know, and it's,

they have to travel all the way perhaps to a New York studio or a Washington studio. With me, if I'm home,

honestly, I've timed myself on this. I can be from

shorts and a t-shirt and flip-flops into jacket, tie shirt, because I keep all that stuff right
