The latest on the terrible, terrible ship hitting the bridge in Baltimore.

Now, here's apparently what happened.

This big, huge cargo ship carrying all these auto containers, was in port leaving,

and it's supposed to go right under the middle of the bridge which is the very high part of the bridge the ship would have easily gone right through there and cleared it easily as it left port apparently it lost power nobody knows yet why but the ship lost power once it lost power, it was unable to control itself.

And they sent frantic mayday messages that they had lost their power.

They'd lost control of the ship.

And it just drifted.

And that's when it drifted and went this way.

And instead of going under the high part of the bridge,

it went over here and actually crashed into the pylon of the bridge,

just knocking down the whole center of the bridge.

It was the worst possible thing that's going to happen

to actually go to that spot and knock out the pylon of the bridge now as they say it had sent out a May Day warning many

minutes before that they've lost control so here's the good news at least the

bridge workers when they got this warning shut down the traffic on both sides of
