What's today? Thursday. It's almost Friday. Almost Friday. This has been another long week, but we're going to get through it.

So Matt Gates is right now the nomination for Attorney General.

I'd say 75% chance he won't get confirmed.

There's just enough opposition.

All you need is four or five Republicans to block it.

Figure Mitch McConnell,

Grassley, he's 90.

This is the last term.

These two guys are retiring.

They don't need anything from anybody.

Then you got the diehards,

Murkowski, Collins, senators.

Figure they'll go against it.

That's four already.

Looks like the Senate will be 5248 as far as Republicans, but then you add in J.D. Vance, that's 53, is it? Yeah. The tie-breaking vote.

So, if it's not Matt Gates, if the nomination fails to get confirmed, figure it's Whitaker, Matt Whitaker.

It's a great, great choice.

The reason you appoint a Matt Gates, even if he's not going to make it, it just sends a message to the crazy left who weaponized.

I mean, the Biden administration, what they did is so, it's such an awful, awful, awful chapter

in American history, worse than McCarthyism, to weaponize the Department of Justice to target

political opponents.
