paid for it so now it literally is free speech but uh apparently uh word leaking out now Now, you've got to remember, he said the horrible things he said on

Monday. It was fired on Wednesday. They gave him two days to walk it back.

And apparently he didn't. Now, the second it happened, here's what he said on Monday. He claimed, tried to claim

ridiculous lie that it was MAGA that was responsible for shooting Charlie Kirk. We had some

new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who

murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they

can to score political points from it. Now, of course, absolutely ridiculous, try to claim Maga

shot Charlie Kirk. It's just insane. So apparently the network wanted him to apologize and

take it back. Kimmel was negotiating with the network.

Apparently, he at some point agreed he would address the controversy,

but refused to apologize.

Kimmel said he would explain what he said and demonstrate how it was taken out of context.

Now, of course, that's insane.

That's ridiculous.
