Hey, we'll get to the election. Your very best election coverage right here. We'll get to Dick Cheney. We'll get to Christmas. We'll get to Nancy Pelosi getting a lot of flack today. We've got lots to get to today, but we'll start with the election.

Voting began this morning. This is election day. You got to get out and vote today. It's election

day to day, 6 a.m. until 9 p.m. here in New York. In the first three hours, 6 to 9, we've already

got the figures in. Over 200,000 people voted. That's huge. That's

enormous turnout. 200,000 in just the first three hours. That means we're going to get

well over a million today. That means the total with the early voting added in will be

well over two million. Unprecedented for a non-presidential year.

We could set an all-time record, or we could be the second biggest turnout ever.

Biggest was 1969.

Two and a half million voted that day.

That was a John Lindsay re-election race.

And it was kind of a similar thing.

Lindsay, very popular when he ran the first time could not

get the nomination from the party again so he ran as an independent and won that way so

but that was through enormous turnout so we got that today now if you're looking for a prediction

don't don't listen to anybody predicting anything today.

Nobody knows anything.

It's impossible to predict anything today.

This is an unusual election.

We haven't had one decent poll in this whole election.

It's all these little pollsters, these junk polls, these media polls, these college polls that are not very good
