Hey, it's like a heat wave. It's going to be near 30 today. That's good news.

We've got a lot to get to. The Oscar nominations just announced.

We'll get to that crazy bishop that is suddenly making the rounds. We'll get, oh, we'll get to the Trump's schedule today. It's pretty interesting. We'll get to the border. We'll get to Biden. We'll get to Eric Adams. Boy, this guy's doing a speech, a press conference every two hours. We didn't see the guy for like two, three years. Now he's all over the place. You can't get rid of him. Good news. CNN is winding down. CNN announcing the layoff of

hundreds of people today. And apparently, from what I hear, this is round one. There will be

hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of layoffs at CNN as the whole thing slowly collapses. It's owned by a big

company that can figure out what to do with it next. You know, sometimes you take a network,

you just switch it to something else. You remember court TV? There was live coverage of all the

major trials all day. It was very good. TV. It was excellent. They would cover the trials

live and with the legal announcement. And then, you know, after, uh, something happened. They had to

fill time. So they ran like a law and order rerun. And it got quadrupled the ratings. So then,

you know, after a while, they said, wait a minute. We could just run old law and orders and we could run. So the next thing, you know, they started running reruns of old crime shows and it did much better. It was cheaper, too. And they switched it to the Law and Order Network or the Crime Network or whatever. So you can do that. Most likely, that's what will happen with CNN. They'll switch it to something else eventually.

Now, you might want to sell it, but it's doing so poorly that, you know, if this was seven years ago,

five, six, seven years ago, you could have sold CNN for five billion. Apparently it's only

worth two billion now. Revenue is way down Apparently, it's only worth $2 billion now.

Revenue is way down.

Profit was only about $400 million last year.

Fox probably made $3 billion, but CNN $400 million.

So the cutting costs like crazy because the revenue continues to drop.

So you'll see hundreds and hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of layoffs coming.

That doesn't mean the big anchors because they have contracts.
