Yesterday there was a massive outage here at I Heart, new york the biggest biggest audio operation in the world

all of our stations networks everything got knocked off i know it's um you know what's interesting

uh i don't think it was hacking but uh it's just so digital now. It's not analog.

It's not like, you know, when the power goes out in your suburb, you see the truck pull up,

the lineman goes up on the pole, puts the line back up, connects.

It's pretty simple.

But when it's digital clouds, nobody can, it takes forever to figure it out.

So also yesterday, I'm trying to call

somebody and the call won't go through it's like three o'clock and I call

somebody else that call won't go through but I call somebody else to call

so like nine people I couldn't call now I find out it was a massive AT&T outage

for seven hours if you had AT&T outage for seven hours. If you had AT&T, you couldn't call outside of AT&T. If somebody

had a different carrier, you couldn't reach them. Seven hours of that. So it wasn't just I-Heart.

This is what happens in the digital world. Anyway, speaking of your phone, shut your phone off once a week, at least once a week,

turn your phone off. Apparently, there is a new generation of hacking apps that could be in your

phone. Now, the old way, you'd have to have some sort of app that you use and it does something

in your phone, but these are things that just get into your phone.

You don't even need to open them or start them.

And they can do all kinds of stuff inside your phone.
