Creator of just so much goodness in the greater superhero and comic book universe, Mark is a celebrated figurehead and all round god of all things fantasy and fantastic. A perfect episode to properly get to know the man behind some true classics in modern day comic and cinema, and bask in those addictive Scottish tones for a minute (which includes hearing him say “Nice wee chunk o’ change”, which is a delight). We join Mark as he stands before a tsunami of good things about to happen, covering everything from his non-enjoyment of holiday time or taking time off, the Wild West of Netflix and all the crazy action he is currently engaged in (which all sounds thoroughly exciting), how the postal service’s loss was our gain as he was a postie for five days (his longest stint at an actual job), how comic greatness can spring from working class family values, his relationship with Alan Moore, hearing interviews with people who aren’t selling stuff and his 20 minute rule. Of course you will receive all of the gossip and chatter within Millar World too, that goes without saying. It’s a proper goody right here - one for the comic nerds and novices alike, and even those with little or passing interest. Inspirational, enjoyable and joyful.
