Well, the media are still leading with the non-story of something that never happened, because George Stephanopoulos and ABC News pushed it out there, and of course the group think in pack mentality the media just keep at it.

Which is why I was the president and got opposition research from a foreign country.

What would he do with it? What would he take it? What would he give it to the FBI? I've spent enough time on this.

Enough time on this. This is a non-issue. It never happened. The president's a patriot, and nothing would happen.

And so that's enough. And of course, Nancy Pelosi, as I was on Fox and Friends today, I said her attacks on the president of the United States, calling him a criminal in essence, is fascistic.

And since she's saying fascistic things, then she must be in some ways at least fascistic.

And the president repeated that today on Fox and Friends, and we will play that for you later since nobody else apparently wants to play.

Have you noticed that, Mr. Producer? They play right after he says, like Mark Lavin said, right? But that's all right.

But here's what I want to leave it. And we're going to get into Iran too. But I want to lead with this, that you just heard the breaking news that the Department of Justice has issued an opinion.

And as advised the Department of Treasury to request the Department of Treasury for an input, not to release the president's tax returns.

Not to release his tax returns. Like, I knew they would. That is, I knew that's how they would rule. Now, the pay, the opinion is 33 pages. I just finished reading it.

I'll y'all hear about it all weekend long from people who haven't read it. It's a brilliant opinion. It's an opinion that will win in court over time.

As I believe some of the other subpoenas that have been issued. But I want to read some aspects of this opinion to you because I think it's important. It's educational and it's fascinating.

And this is what you have to do when you stand up to tyranny, the tyranny of these committees and these committee chairman.

And they start by saying the internal revenue code requires that the Department of the Treasury keep tax return. This relates to you too. Tax returns are related information confidential. Subject to certain exceptions.

And makes the unauthorized disclosure of such information a federal crime of felony.

You've asked for our advice about one exception. They write to Treasury, which provides that the Secretary Treasury shall furnish, quote unquote.
