I have Mark Jackson. He's on the faculty at Singularity University,

and we'll be talking about some interesting projects that he's working on today.

Hi, thanks.

It's great to be here.

Yeah.

So, you know, instead of me giving a somewhat lame overview of your projects, you know,

let the listeners know what's the top few that you're working on right now, and then we'll dive deep into one or two of them.

Sure. The main project that I'm working on right now is the dawn of private space science

symposium. So this is a symposium that will be hosting at Columbia University on June 3rd and

4th to focus on private space science.

So there's been a lot of talk about the commercialization of space or about space tourism,

but there hasn't been so much attention given to the scientific opportunities in space.

And so what the event will focus on is how would a science project get funded privately,

and then how would you put it on a private rocket in order to put it up into space?
