So here's another book coming out about Saturday Night Live, Lauren Michaels, 50 years.

Did you ever think you'd see all this stuff, books, movies, documentaries, all at once coming out?

Well, you know something?

When it's 50 years, it's such an overwhelmingly huge number.

Yes, I didn't think that, first, but the most important part of that is,

who would have ever thought last half of the story?

So it's like all coming together, like the book about Lauren, the 50th anniversary show, all the

press we're doing, the Saturday night movie that Jason Reitman did.

It's just an avalanche of all of it.

Okay, but when Meet the Press 50 years, I think a pamphlet came out.

That was about it.

Nothing happened.

Yeah. And I think that the Today Show had a brochure. You're absolutely right. So, hey, tell us about

Lauren Michaels, because other people have tried to do this. can't do it what was it about him that only

he had the right radar for picking stuff and knowing what to do um that is i think um among all of his

talents the greatest one is um knowing uh talent when he sees it in other people you know there's a four-part series that's on um

uh i think peacock right now yeah about the okay four four parts and the first part is the actors
