Look like an incredible day. It was unbelievable. It was one of the most powerful days I've ever spent you know it was

obviously grieving grieving an extraordinary life and so there was sadness but but at

the same time it was married with celebration celebration of a life extraordinarily

well lived and extraordinarily impactful.

Charlie Kirk is someone I knew very well.

He was a close friend to mine.

I met Charlie when he was just 18 years old.

Wow.

He was fresh out of high school from Chicago.

He was this kid who had a vision for building what would be called Turning Point USA, a movement to get young people

energized for liberty, energized for free enterprise and the Constitution, and taught to love

America. And it succeeded beyond anyone's wildest dreams. And I got to tell you, Mark,

yesterday, yes, it was a

funeral ceremony, but it was more revival than anything else. It was like a Billy Graham tent revival.

You had 100,000 people there. The line started going out the door at 4 in the morning. If you got there by 8 a.m., you did not get a seat,
