Well, there are a lot of great restaurants in New York, but just a handful of really landmark, iconic restaurants.

One of them is Patsy, is the legendary restaurant on 56 between Broadway and 8th, and Sal Skogne-Millow and his family.

They've owned it for a long, long time, and it's great to

have him with us. Sal, how you doing?

Good morning, my friend. How are you?

Very good. If you talk about the longest running landmark restaurants, it would always be

21, like 100-something years, but that's closed now. So are you the longest-running big-name

restaurant in New York? Well, certainly one of the longest running big name restaurant in New York?

Well, certainly one of the longest running that's still family run by the Skognomillo family.

That's 78 plus years now. Wow. Yeah, so 21 closed. I don't know if it'll ever reopen.

I can't, I think there's one restaurant. What's that Wall Street restaurant's been there like 100 something? Maybe that one, but... There's a couple of them, yeah. Yeah, but Patsy's on 56th. New Yorkers love it and tourists. Have you seen... Because you can tell from how many tourists are coming in. Have you seen the tourist business come back to New York? It's definitely been an uptick, for sure. Definitely an uptick. We're not where we were before. But as I said, everyone, as long as we're healthy, the heck with everything else. Thank God. You know, we're keeping it going. And what about, you know, all he hears you can't hire staff, you can't get employees. How's that going?

It's been a little bit better.

A little bit better.

We have some employees, sadly, some restaurants have closed, so they come to us, and thank God we were able to grab a few.

So I'm very happy about that because I was working six days at 12 hours a day, so now

it's a little bit easier for us.

But we love to keep things going.

Yeah.

When all these restaurants say they can't find employees, what does that mean that they're just leaving the business or that they're getting stimulus checks and they don't want to work?

Why are they all leaving these restaurants?
