Oh, my goodness, it is holiday week. Doesn't it really feel like a holiday? I just walk in the streets of Manhattan coming here today.

You know that the city is full of tourists because the light will be red. And, you know, it'll'll say don't walk but there isn't a car in sight yet all the like the german tourists and all that like we must follow the rules it says we don't cross we don't cross and then i just come along do too do do the dopy new yorker and i just got across the street and they looked at me like you're breaking the law yeah that's what we do in new york if York. If there's no car, you're allowed to walk. You don't have to follow the rules. They all follow the rules. The rules say, you do not walk. You do not walk. We just do things different in New York. Different vibe. Good morning to you. It is 1140 on your Friday morning. Ken Rosado is in for Mark on this holiday week, and it sure feels like a

joins us now. He's going to talk about all the great holiday entertainment. Roger, happy holidays

Tis the season. Listen, Roger, there were two major female music performances that took

that took place during the Christmas football games. One was

Beyonce, another was Mariah Carey, but each received sort of a different review. Tell us about

it. Well, Mariah Carey did not perform live. She sort of submitted a video that she had made

of her Christmas song, which I think everyone is sick of by now.

And people really criticized her.

I didn't criticize her because I criticized her for other things.

But there were a lot of people who were upset that she didn't appear live and sing live.

But, you know, she's in Aspen and she's enjoying the holidays and she wasn't

going to come and do that. Beyonce, on the other hand, did a spectacular live show and she really

did it because, well, first of all, the money from Netflix was great. And second of all,

she really wants the album of the year award at the Grammys next month for her Cowboy Carter album.

And she hasn't done a lot of press during the year.

And the album kind of faded a little bit.

And, you know, Taylor Swift, Taylor Swift, Taylor Swift, that's all you hear.
